Secretary of the Kosovo Security Council Afrim Haxhiu paid an official visit to Ankara between 29 October-1 November 2013 at the invitation of the Secretary-General Governor Muammer Türker.

The visit on 30 October 2013 to the Sectariat-General by the Kosovo Security Council Delegation in company with Kosovo’s Ambassador to Ankara Avni Sphaiu was the first official contact between the two institutions. During the visit, an introductory briefing was delivered on our Institution and a declaration of intent was made regarding improvement of bilateral multi-dimensional cooperation and promotion of closer contacts at all levels.

Within the framework of the visit program, a working dinner was held for the guest Delegation and Kosovo’s Ambassador Avni Spahiu. The program also included visits to the Mausoleum of Atatürk, the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations and the Turkish National Police Academy.
