Secretary General of the National Security Council Governor Seyfullah Hacımüftüoğlu paid an official visit to Romania with a delegation on 30th August – 1st  September 2023, at the invitation of the The Head of National Security Department of Romanian Presidential Administration, Mr. Ion Oprişor.

During the negotiations Secretary General of National Security Council Governor Seyfullah Hacımüftüoğlu and Romania Presidential Advisor Ion Oprişor exchanged views on regional and global security issues related to the mutual interests of two countries and possibilities of deepening cooperation on security issues.

Secretary General Hacımüftüoğlu also held meetings with the Secretary of State Bogdan Despescu and Dr. Raed Arafat in Ministry of Internal Affairs and Chief of Defense of Romania Daniel Petrescu.
