Secretary-General Muammer Türker, heading a delegation, paid an official visit to Mongolia, between 2-3 September 2014, at the invitation of Tsagaandri Enkhtuvshin, the Secretary of the Mongolia Security Council.

Within the framework of the visit program, Secretary-General Türker met with Minister of Foreign Affairs Luvsanvandan Bold and was received by the President of Mongolia, Tsakhiagiin Elbegdorj.

Secretary-General Türker and his delegation also visited the Tonyukuk Inscriptions and Tsonjin Boldog Complex. During the visit of Tonyukuk Inscriptions, the Secretary-General received a short briefing about the history of the Inscriptions and the activities Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TİKA) Ulaanbaatar Program Coordination Office.
