Secretary-General Muammer Türker, heading a delegation from the Secretariat-General of the National Security Council, paid visits to Hakkari and Van between 04-05 June 2013. On 4 June 2013, Secretary-General Türker visited Hakkari Governor Orhan Alimoğlu in his office. At a meeting with the participation of concerned authorities, he was briefed on regional security. Following the meeting, Secretary-General Muammer Türker, the former Governor of Hakkari, had contacts with the citizens, non-governmental organizations and journalists.

Secretary-General Muammer Türker arrived at Van on 05 June 2013 and visited Governor Münir Karaloğlu in his office. Afterwards, Secretary-General Türker had the opportunity to negotiate on the region’s security situation in a meeting held with the participation of concerned authorities.
