Secretary-General Visits Georgia (June 20-23, 2023)

Secretary General of the National Security Council Governor Seyfullah Hacımüftüoğlu paid an official visit to Georgia with a delegation on 21th -22th  June 2023, at the invitation of the Head of the National Security Council’s Office of the Georgia Givi Tumanishvili.

Within the scope of the visit, exchanged views on bilateral relations, regional and global security issues. In this context, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Secretariat-General of the National Security Council of the Republic of Türkiye and the Office of the National Security Council of Georgia, which envisages the enhancement of contacts and cooperation.

Secretary General Hacımüftüoğlu was also received by the Prime Minister of Georgia, His Excellency Irakli Garibashvili and held meetings with the Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Minister of Defense. Secretary General Hacımüftüoğlu also participated to the Georgia Cybersecurity Forum 2023 and made an opening speech.
