Secretary General of the National Security Council Governor Seyfullah Hacımüftüoğlu paid an official visit to Azerbaijan with a delegation on 11th -13th  May 2022, at the invitation of the Head of the Security Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan Colonel-General Ramil Usubov.

During the visit, Secretary General Hacımüftüoğlu came together with high-ranked Azerbaijani officials and exchanged views on bilateral relations, regional and global security issues. In this context, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Secretariat-General of the National Security Council and the Service of the Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Azerbaijan, which envisages the enhancement of contacts and cooperation.
