The 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Secretariat-General of the National Security Council was celebrated on 27 May 2013 through a ceremony.

The ceremony started with the opening speech by Secretary-General Muammer Türker and continued with a concert delivered by the Turkish Art Music Chorus consisting of chorists from the Secretariat-General staff under Director Necmettin Akben.

The ceremony, attended by the staff of the Secretariat-General with their families, ended after an offering in the inner garden.
