Romanian Presidential Adviser for Defence and National Security, Mr. Cristian Diaconescu, accompanied by a delegation, paid an official visit to Ankara between March 4-6, 2025 upon the invitation of the Secretary General Governor Mr. Okay Memiş. During the meeting between delegations held at the General Secretariat, regional and global security issues and the opportunities for developing the bilateral cooperation were discussed.

On the margins of the visit Cristian Diaconescu also held meetings with other relevant institutions.
