Mongolia’s National Security Council Secretary Tsagaandari Enkhtuvshin paid an official visit to Turkey between 9-13 November 2013 at the invitation of the Secretary-General Governor Muammer Türker.

The visit on 12 November 2013 to the Secretariat-General of the Turkish National Security Council by the Mongolian National Security Council Delegation, accompanied by Mongolia’s Ambassador to Ankara Badamdorj Batkhishing, was the last meeting of the official contacts between the two institutions continuing since 2002. During the visit, the Delegation received a briefing on our Institution, bilateral and multilateral issues were negotiated and mutual understanding once more was exchanged regarding improvement of multilateral cooperation and promotion of closer contacts at all levels in line with the Momerandum of Understanding signed in 2011.

Within the framework of the visit program, the guest Delegation was also hosted by the Minister of the Interior Muammer Güler and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Naci Koru. Besides, the Delegation visited the Anti-Terrorism Academy functioning under the Counter-Terrorism Department of the Turkish National Police and received a brifing.
