Meeting Between the Secretariat-General of the National Security Council of the Republic of Türkiye and the Office of the Chief National Security Advisor to the Prime Minister of Hungary (December 8, 2025)

On 8 December 2025, within the framework of the 7th Meeting of the Türkiye-Hungary High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council, a bilateral meeting was held between the Secretary-General of the National Security Council of the Republic of Türkiye, H.E. Okay Memiş, and the Chief National Security Advisor to the Prime Minister of Hungary, H.E. Marcell Biró. During the meeting, the current state of Türkiye-Hungary relations and opportunities to further strengthen bilateral cooperation were discussed and the parties also exchanged comprehensive views on global and regional developments.

Following the 7th Meeting of the Türkiye-Hungary High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council, chaired by President of the Republic of Türkiye, H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and Prime Minister of Hungary, H.E. Viktor Orbán, a Memorandum of Understanding envisaging enhanced contacts and cooperation between the Secretariat-General of the National Security Council of the Republic of Türkiye and the Office of the Chief National Security Advisor to the Prime Minister of Hungary was signed at a ceremony held at Dolmabahçe Palace.
