Within the context of the 80th Anniversary of Establishment activities, an afforestation event was held on 23 March 2013 with the participation of the Secretariat-General staff and their families.

It was the third afforestation event at which 100 tree seedlings obtained from the Provincial Directorate of Forestry were planted by the participants in the forest of the Secretariat-General of the National Security Council.
