Secretary-General Muammer Türker attended the “4th International Meeting of High Level Officials Responsible for Security Matters” organized between 2-4 July 2013 in Vladivostok at the invitation of Nikolay Patrusev, the Secretary of the National Security Council of the Russian Federation.

The agenda items of the meeting held with the participation of high level representatives from 60 countries and international organizations included “International Cooperation Against Money-Laundering as a Factor of Strengthening Global and Regional Security” and “Main Directions of Strengthening International and Regional Transport Security”. A further discussion was conducted on the role of science and technologies as new challanges and potential global threats.

Throughout the meeting, Secretary-General Türker delivered two speeches referring to Turkey’s contributions to the regional and international cooperation in the fields covered under the agenda items.

Meanwhile, bilateral meetings were also held on security issues with high level administrators from several countries.
